Information We Collect
We collect minimal data required to provide our job tracking services. This includes your email address for authentication and notification purposes, and any resume data you explicitly upload for the purpose of job matching. We do not track your browsing activity outside of JobScanner.
How We Use Data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the JobScanner experience. Resume text is processed for keyword matching against job descriptions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or resume data to third parties, recruiters, or advertisers. You are the customer, not the product.
Security & Retention
We employ industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time through your profile settings. Deleted data is purged from our active databases immediately.
Third-Party Services
We use Turso (LibSQL) for database management and Resend/Nodemailer for critical system communications. These providers are vetted for high security standards and only receive the data necessary to perform their functions.
